Where can I go paragliding?
Paragliding over Lake Como is one of the most requested experiences for an active holiday. The most popular launch point is from Monte Cornizzolo. Other launch points are located in Valsassina and Alto Lario. It is suitable for everyone in physical conditions appropriate for outdoor sporting activities.
Where can I go canyoning?
You can go canyoning around Lake Como only when accompanied by a qualified Mountain Guide. The most popular stream is in Val Bodengo, which offers routes of increasing difficulty, one of which is also suitable for children aged 10 and up.
Where can I get married on Lake Como?
Any town on Lake Como can host you for a civil wedding: please contact the relevant registry office or wedding office. You can celebrate a civil union in numerous locations. You can celebrate Catholic, Protestant, or Orthodox weddings by referring to your religion and the church with territorial jurisdiction. For specific rites, we suggest you be assisted by professional wedding planners.
Where does the seaplane depart from?
The seaplane departs from the Aero Club Como, located at the end of the city's lakeside promenade. If you are in the Upper Lake area, you can use the services of the Aero Club in Colico.
Where can I go swimming in the lake?
There are numerous public beaches and lidos around Lake Como: consult the map and choose the one with the services you prefer. Some areas are closed to swimming for safety reasons: for your safety, please respect the signs and prohibitions.
Is Lake Como dog-friendly?
Dogs are welcome guests on Lake Como. There are numerous excursions through the woods and hills; if you visit villas and gardens, please pay attention to the access rules. For four-legged tourists, we suggest walking the Lake Como Greenway, always keeping your dog on a leash for safety reasons and out of respect for other tourists.

Is Villa Carlotta always open?
Villa Carlotta is open from early spring to early autumn, with additional special openings during the Christmas period. Villa Carlotta is open daily from 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM (March–September) or from 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM (October). Access is permitted until one hour before closing time.
Where is George Clooney's villa?

Can I go canoeing on Lake Como?
Lake Como is excellent for canoeing: you can rent full equipment at numerous sports centers along the coast or join guided tours from Bellagio, Blevio, Mandello del Lario, and Lecco. Canoeing and kayaking can also be practiced in the Brianza lakes, which feature calmer waters and picturesque views.
Where can I take the ferry with a car?
Car ferry connections are available between Varenna, Bellagio, Menaggio, and Cadenabbia. Ferries depart approximately every half hour: always consult the timetable on the official portal to verify the service.
Can I go diving in Lake Como?
Lake Como is the deepest lake in Italy. Diving is possible: there are two specialized diving locations in Cernobbio and Colico. Always pay attention to weather variations.
