Villa Serbelloni in Bellagio a jewel dominates two branches of Lake Como
Villa Serbelloni, not to be confused with Grand Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni in Bellagio, is located in the upper land of the town. Now it is a property of Rockefeller Foundation, it is available to visit only the garden, during the opening times only by authorized guided tours.
To discover the amazing garden and lost the road into the maze of alleys immersed into the green, the best choice is a calm and peaceful walk to enjoy the breath-taking view of the point where Lake Como is divided into two branches, where the stone of Bellagio has resisted to the strength of the glacier that created this natural masterpiece.
The visit, available only with authorized guides in specific times, brings the visitors to admire the grace and the beauty of the terraces that characterized this park. The garden is full of local flora as well as flowers and tropical plants, that grow easily in the particular climate of Bellagio. All these elements, with statues and natural caves, draw a marvelous paint enough to become inspirational for several artists.
The visits planned for groups min. 6 visitors, last about an hour and a half; the visits are organized from March to November.
