Conquer the Sky of Lake Como and Fly Light and Silent Among the Clouds

For those who want to experience the thrill of mastering the sky using only the power of the wind, Lake Como, thanks to its particular air currents, is an ideal destination. Several flight schools, in fact, offer the opportunity to practice this exciting sport in complete freedom and allow beginners to take tandem flights accompanied by qualified instructors.

Starting from the Upper Lake Como area, in Sorico, the Club Parapendio Alto Lario offers the possibility of tandem flights with landing directly on the lake's water surface. The center specializes in expert-level flights. Also from Gera Lario, with Como Lake Paragliding, it is possible to take off on tandem paragliding flights.
Tandem paragliding flights can also be arranged with the Volo Libero Valle Intelvi club.

The most spectacular flights depart from Suello: the starting point is a plateau halfway up the eastern slope of Monte Cornizzolo: with Aeroclub Monte Cornizzolo it is possible to take tandem launches in paragliding and hang gliding and fly over the Brianza region that stretches out beneath you. Numerous safe landing points are available.

In Valsassina, the takeoff points are from Alpe Giumello, with tandem flights, flight school, and advanced courses, thanks to Flylibell school. Finally, from the Jungle Raider Park Adventure Park in Margno, it is possible to take tandem launches, always departing from Monte Giumello. These flights can take you along the valleys of the Lake Como Mountains up to flying over the sparkling waters of the Lario.
