Exploring the depths of Lake Como without mobility barriers
Discovering the depths of Lake Como is a fascinating experience in itself, filling every diver welcomed by the unusual landscape submerged in the lake's cold waters with enthusiasm. As of today, there are no longer barriers for divers in Cernobbio: divers are welcome to Lake Como thanks to a new vessel equipped with a winch that allows wheelchair-using divers to be lowered into the water.
A landmark turning point for this discipline, which is closely linked to an athlete's physical capabilities. It is an activity with inherent risks that requires proper precautions and technical preparation, yet it is immensely rewarding. What a diver's eyes can admire in the depths of Lake Como is beyond words!
Thanks to ASD Invincible Diving Cernobbio, the underwater world is now within everyone's reach, including those with disabilities and the visually impaired. Because diving in Lake Como is not just about enjoying the underwater scenery, but about feeling the thrill and emotion that courses through every cell of one's body.
Thanks to this special vessel, all divers can dive into Lake Como in complete safety. An underwater gym has also been created in the Cernobbio area which, alongside the one in Colico in Piona Bay, aims to increase the appeal of underwater tourism.
The new boat allows for therapeutic activities for those suffering from severe motor system pathologies, or simply for those seeking an unconventional rehabilitation program. The opportunity to experience the thrill of a dive in Lake Como makes a stay in this region even more special.
